Just a quick entry to apologise to everybody for  not responding to my messages, as promptly as I usually do....

I went on a trip to Eden  but  I have been forced to return home today because my beautiful and most beloved and cherished "Gram" died last night....It was sudden and it was unexpected and I am so totally devastated and heart broken....I feel so entirely lost and gutted without her....

My Grandmother was like the ultimate grandmother of grandmothers...she was my best friend,my second mother, my mentor, my heart and guide  and  my most trusted and loved confidante....She was so many things to me,the absolute light of my life and i absolutely adored her, and now she is gone and I feel so empty inside...

I also feel so guilty too, because whilst I was in Eden having the time of my life, she lay dying in a hospital bed in Shepparton and I'm not sure that I will ever be able to forgive myself for that....

My mother said to me last night on the phone that she had waited untill the very last minute  before she called me, because in the past my Gram has always managed to rally herself because she wanted  more than anything else to live....Sadly that was not to be.....

She was 92 years old,and a fighter...she fought for so long and she fought so hard and I admire her so much for her incredible courage and for her tenacious spirit.....

I can only hope that she is at peace now as she deserves  to be in eternal paradise....I just hope that she realised how much I loved her....I never got to say it to her,nor could i say goodbye,and that is haunting me at present.....

Until things are settled here, I may not be on DA as often as I usually am, but I will answer each and every message as soon as I can...

Take care fellow Devs, and if you can, spare a prayer for my "Gram,",or even just a positive thought..

So hows it going in Dev-land?????

I've just walked into my bathroom to check my 10 year old son whilst he was having a bath and I've just found him with Lizarus our pet bluetongue Lizard perched on his tummy....She's lapping up the water and basking on his belly having the time of her life!!!!!!So is my son(:

Today was the coldest day so far and we are not even into the coldest part of our winter so I really hate to think how I'm going to cope later on down the track!!!!!I think old age is creeping up on me(:

I found another bluetongue lizard today coming home from work so now we have 3 of them.Hissica has gone into hibernation which is what Lizarus should be doing but she prefers to be treated like a person..None of that Lizard business for her!!!!!As for the 3rd bluetongue it looks like it's been attacked by a cat or something so I've put it into a separate box in order to rest and recuperate with minimal stress....Poor thing was terrified and it's body is covered in scratches, but hopefully it should survive....

I'm just a sucker for injured animals.....I couldn't have just left it there....not in my nature i'm afraid(:
